About Us

The Core Essentials

  • We trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection alone for our forgiveness and new life.
  • We understand and love the Bible and we’re zealous to read it with others.
  • We wholeheartedly obey Jesus’ command to make disciples wherever we go.
  • We use everything we have been given by God for His purposes and glory.
  • We faithfully serve and share in a loving community of believers.

Our Purpose Statement

We exist: To know Jesus, grow to be like Jesus, and go tell the nations about Jesus.

Beliefs We Affirm

ONE GOD

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Col. 1:15-20, Acts 11:15-18, Mat. 16:15-17, Gal. 4:6 , Acts 2:33, Luke 3:21-22

LIVING TO GLORIFY GOD

We believe that all the saved should live in such manner as will honour and glorify and not bring reproach upon their Saviour and Lord, and that it is commanded of God to remain separate from false doctrines and sinful pleasures, practices and associations.

2 Tim. 1:8-10, 2 Cor. 9:13, Rom. 12:2, 2 Peter 1:4

SCRIPTURE

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith, life and conduct.
2 Tim. 3:16, Eph. 6:17, Isa. 28:16, 1 Cor. 3:11

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the full deity of Jesus Christ; that He was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and, as such, is God perfectly manifested in the flesh; that He died on the cross, a perfect and complete sacrifice, in our stead and for our sins according to the Scriptures. He arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven where at the right hand of the Majesty on high, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
John 1:6-14, John 1:17-18, Mat. 1:18-23, Isa. 9:6, Col. 2:8-10 , Mark 16:19, Acts 2:33-36, Mat. 28:1-10, Rom. 8:26-27

THE CHURCH

We believe that the Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head. We believe the local church is a congregation of believers associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ governed by His laws and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word. This will include winning people to Christ, establishing them in the Word of God and discipling them to reach others.
1 Cor. 1:9, John 1:13, Acts 13:47, Mark 1:17, Matt. 10:1

ANGELS AND SATAN

We believe in the existence of angels who worship God and minister to believers. We also believe in the existence of Satan, the devil, a fallen angelic being who with his demons opposes God, His people and His work. We believe that Christians today can have victory over Satan and his evil schemes through their identification with Christ who defeated him powerfully and conclusively at the cross.
Gen 28:12, Heb. 1:6, Isa. 14:12, Luke 10:18, 1 Cor. 15:54-55

RESURRECTION

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting and conscious punishment.
Rev. 20:4-6 , 1 Thes. 4:17, Acts 24:15, 1 Cor. 15:21, Matt. 24:51, Matt. 25:30

HOPE

We believe in the personal, visible, bodily and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to complete His saving purpose and to fulfill the biblical promises, and that this blessed hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
Mat. 24:30, Mat. 24:42, 2 Pet. 3:10, 1 Thes. 5:1-2

SALVATION

We believe that the atoning death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground of justification and salvation for all who believe, and that only such as receive Jesus Christ by personal faith are born of the Holy Spirit and, thus, become children of God.
Gal 3:24-29 , Rom 5:18-19, Rom 4:25, 1 Pet 1:23, John 3:3

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of church is Fellowship?
Fellowship is a place for everyone. We are an imperfect church full of imperfect people. So, if you’re not perfect, you’ll fit right in with us! We are a diverse group of people who get together every Sunday to praise, pray, and learn about God and Jesus, His son.

A typical Sunday service lasts 70 minutes. Our atmosphere is casual. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and aren’t afraid to laugh at ourselves. Usually, we start by singing a few songs of contemporary worship led by a live band. We always project the lyrics, so don’t worry about not knowing the songs. After singing, we usually go over some announcements, the regular attendees give an offering, and then one of our pastors gets up to speak for about 30 minutes. Our messages are always live and are based on Biblical truth. You can watch some of our past messages here. After our service is finished, we typically get together to hang out and talk with each other over coffee and biscuits.

Whatever is most comfortable with you.

We believe everyone has a place at Fellowship and we have many opportunities for you to get connected. Join one of our Small Groups, take a Fellowship Course, or serve behind the scenes on one of our ministry teams. The Children’s and Youth Ministries also have unique opportunities to get involved at Fellowship.
