In this special Good Friday message, we look at three people who, together, go through an extremely excruciating experience in the hands of soldiers who enjoyed this type of brutality. Two of them were there because it was a consequence of their mistakes, one was there as a consequence of great love. Three crosses, three reasons to be on those crosses. As we look at these three characters, we shall ask what brought them to the cross, what is their attitude to their crosses? Most importantly we will consider what our attitude to the cross is.

I am wounded by the betrayal and the pain of my past, but I am devastated no longer; for I am chosen by God, satisfied in Christ, and protected by an older brother who will never let me go.
