Family Ministries FAQs

Family ministry caters to various age groups, often divided into classes or groups based on age ranges. This allows children to engage in age-appropriate activities and teachings. Here are the age groups:
•      Kids Church 1-2
•      Kids Church 3-5
•      Kids Church 5-8
•      Kids Church 8-11

NOTE: Youth Ministry follows the grade structure
•      Youth All grade 6/year 7 to grade 12/year 13 students

Kids Church 1-2 can move up to Kids Church 3-5 if they turn 3 during the year, and this transition occurs after the term/unit.

Kids Church 3-5, the transition to KC 5-8 happens only in the school year they will turn 6

Kids Church 5-8, the transition to KC 8-11 happens only in the school year they will turn 9

Kids in the 8-11 age group can move up to Youth  after the term/unit they turn 11

Comfortable and casual attire is recommended. Kids and teens often participate in interactive activities, so it's a good idea for them to wear something suitable for movement and play.

Yes, we prioritize the safety of all children and youth. Our check-in and check-out process is designed to be secure—children are released only to authorized individuals, while youth may be dismissed independently in line with our ministry guidelines.

Friendly reminder: Ensure your phone is on vibrate, as we may need to get in touch with you if your children are having difficulty settling in the class and have been crying for more than 5 minutes.

Our ministry offers a variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities for both children and youth, including games, worship, Bible teaching, storytelling, discussions, and creative activities. These are designed to help them learn about God in meaningful ways while also having fun and building relationships.

For most age groups, we encourage parents to drop off their children and allow them to participate independently. This fosters a sense of community and enables children to engage more fully with the planned activities. The maximum time parents can be allowed to stay in class is 5 mins.

We have carefully designed our curriculum and activities to cater to the unique developmental needs and interests of each age group. This intentional separation allows us to provide age-appropriate content and a tailored learning experience for all the children. We believe that this approach enables us to create a more engaging and meaningful environment for our young participants. Each age group receives teachings and activities that are specifically crafted to meet them at their current stage of development.

Word of Encouragement

I am wounded by the betrayal and the pain of my past, but I am devastated no longer; for I am chosen by God, satisfied in Christ, and protected by an older brother who will never let me go.
