The Check-In

What is Check-In?

The Check-In is a monthly gathering hosted by Compass Ministry. Our hope is that it would be a starting place to help people understand, receive, and recover from issues and wounds of the past. We want to help the church grow as a ‘healing community,’ a place where it is acceptable to be broken, have problems, admit failure, and address our pain. It is a place to Check-in with ourselves, with God, and with one another.

Katharos: The Jesus Path to Sexual Purity

Sundays @5pm starting soon!

  • Katharos is an eight-week small group curriculum for men who want to put pornography in the past — for good. This is a confidential, grace-filled community that will provide a safe place to be real and learn how to experience freedom.
  • We will walk together through the eight transformation practices that can liberate you from a lifetime of sexual addiction. This is a heart transformation experience that beautifully merges sound behavior science with the life-altering teachings of Jesus.

Healing From Past Wounds

Sundays @5pm starting soon!

  • We all have a story. Our life is made up of many experiences, both good and bad, that make us who we are. Whether we like to admit it or not, our past wounds impact our present far more than we realize. Experiences with our family of origin shapes how we see ourselves, God and the world around us.
  • To be honest, most of us would like to ignore the pain of our past and get on with life, but when we try to bury our pain, we bury it alive. It often resurfaces through various ways in our present; perhaps through anxiety, depression, addiction, or broken relationships.
  • This group is for people who are ready to explore their stories in a way that brings true healing and freedom.
