Acts 1:8 (ESV)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Jesus doesn’t say, “Go witness.” He says, “You will be my witnesses.” Witnessing flows from identity before activity. As we abide in Christ (John 15:5), our lives overflow with His love. Mission isn’t about trying harder but about staying connected to the vine.
Do I see myself more as “doing” for Jesus or “being” with Jesus?
